About RateLab

RateLab is an independent product guide run by the RateLab team. We compare the products in a category side by side and give each one a clear Buy, Consider, or Skip verdict, so you can decide quickly without reading a dozen long reviews.

What we cover

Everyday products across 11 departments, from kitchen and home to tools, pets, and the outdoors. Each category page compares a small set of products, and each product gets its own page with the reasons behind its verdict.

How we work

Our information comes from the makers' own specs and documents, public safety records, and independent tests. We use AI tools to help gather and organize that information. Every verdict follows the rules on our How We Pick page. We don't test products hands-on.

Independence

No brand pays to be included or ranked. As an Amazon Associate, RateLab earns from qualifying purchases. That commission never changes a verdict. RateLab is not affiliated with Amazon or any brand we cover.
