Key Details
Why It Is Premium
The EGO stands out because the battery platform is the product story. Snow tools draw real current, and a mature 56V system is easier to trust than a small unknown pack when the snow gets heavier.
The SNS1201 also makes sense for homeowners who already own EGO tools. Sharing batteries across a mower, blower, trimmer, and snow shovel makes the higher entry price easier to justify.
Size Tradeoff
A 12-inch shovel is compact and controllable, which helps on narrow walks and decks. It is not the fastest choice for a large driveway.
That smaller width is a feature when the clearing path is tight, but buyers with broad concrete should compare this against a full snow blower before spending premium money.
Value and Verdict
Buy the EGO Power+ SNS1201 if battery-platform quality matters more than the lowest price.
It is the premium pick for buyers who want a compact snow shovel attached to a stronger outdoor-tool ecosystem.
