Key Details
Why the Graco Simple Sway Is the Best Overall Pick
Strong feedback from a very large number of buyers is the deepest buyer evidence in this review. The side-to-side swaying motion can soothe infants who do not respond as strongly to front-to-back rocking, and the 6 speed settings offer enough range to settle on a pace that works for each baby. The 2-speed vibration adds another calming option on top of the swing motion.
Like any motorized swing, it makes some sound at higher speed settings. If you plan to leave the swing running in the same room while the baby sleeps, factor this in.
The small frame is a practical advantage for families in apartments or smaller homes. It fits beside a crib, near a feeding chair, or in a living room without dominating the space. The plug-in AC adapter removes battery cost for families who plan to use the swing intensively over several months, and the 15-song library is large enough that the same melody does not loop on repeat.
